Community Service Announcement Request
Seymour FM is proud to support the many community groups, charities, sporting clubs, schools, volunteer organisations, and not-for-profit initiatives that help make our region a stronger, safer, and better connected place to live.
One of the ways we support our local community is through Community Service Announcements (CSAs). A CSA is a short on-air announcement broadcast free of charge to help promote community events, services, programs, fundraising activities, awareness campaigns, and other initiatives that provide a clear benefit to the public.
CSAs are designed to keep our listeners informed about important community activities and services across Seymour, Mitchell Shire, Murrindindi, Strathbogie, and surrounding areas. We encourage eligible organisations to make use of this service to help spread their message throughout the community.
Community Service Announcements may include:
- Community events and festivals
- Charity fundraising activities
- Volunteer recruitment campaigns
- School and educational events
- Sporting club activities
- Health and wellbeing awareness campaigns
- Emergency preparedness information
- Public interest notices
- Community support services
- Cultural and arts programs
- Local government community initiatives
To ensure fairness and compliance with broadcasting standards, all CSA requests must meet the following guidelines.
